Me and my Bakery

Hi, I'm Rose, and baking has been my passion since I was fifteen years old. What started as a hobby quickly became something I loved, and over the years, that passion has grown into what is now Rosebuds Farm Bakery.

​​​

When I became a mum, I wasn't ready to give up baking. Instead, I found a way to balance family life with doing what I love. I began baking from my kitchen at home, supplying cakes to a few local coffee shops. Before long, word spread, and demand for my homemade bakes continued to grow.

​

 I saw an opportunity and transformed a small room in the brick barn into a working bakery. The dream of mine to open a bakery then became a reality. Soon, it was filled with the wonderful aroma of freshly baked bread, cakes, and pastries.

 

As my customers' appetite for homemade treats grew, so did my ambition. I challenged myself to learn the art of artisan bread making and developed my skills through hard work, determination, and a genuine love for baking.

Since opening our doors in 2011, I've been dedicated to creating delicious, handmade products using quality ingredients and plenty of care. Nothing makes me happier than seeing familiar faces return and welcoming new customers through the door

​

Today, I'm proud to work alongside my daughter, niece and dedicated staff, who share the same passion and commitment as i do. Together, we've built a bakery that has been expanded several times and has become a special part of the local community.

When I'm not in the bakery, I love travelling, photography, discovering cosy coffee shops, and enjoying long walks. The newest found passion of mine is beekeeping, which keeps the bakery shelves stocked with our own delicious honey. These simple pleasures inspire me every day and help fuel the creativity I bring to my baking.
